Winter roundup

It's still very much winter here in Seoul. We've never been colder, but we're making the most of it -- and hoping it's almost over. We didn't let the chill slow us down, and have had a great time exploring the city (mostly indoors), hanging out with friends and skiing. Here are our winter highlights:

Bumper bowling is fun in any weather.
When I asked Leo what happened, he said, "Daddy did it."
Geoff was not actually home at the time. Leo didn't have a reason for
taking all his clothes off either.
New Year's Day at Seoul's aquarium.

Playing at the science museum.
Our kids are always easy to find in a crowd.
Eri about ready to do a triple axel jump, which I did not get on camera.
Eri and Dylan. Girls' Night Out.

Eri and the boys at dinner.
Leo at the dog cafe.
Animal cafes are very popular in Asia. ...

... with good reason.

If you order an over-priced drink, you can play with the dogs
that live at the cafe as much as you want.
Our kids love it, but our clothes smell funny after we leave.

Geoff was the audience participant at a Korean cooking entertainment show.
Leo clapped and shouted "Daddy, Daddy" the whole time Geoff was on stage.
At the Samsung Thunders pro basketball game with the Musa family.
Go Thunders!

Eri and I both had a national holiday off from school and
work, respectively,  so we stepped up our monthly girls'
outing and went to an indoor amusement park.

Geoff had to work late and Eri had a playdate, so Leo and I went out for a treat.

Eri at swimming lessons.

Cutest. Boy. EVER.

And here, too.

Leo, Eri and bff Dylan making Valentine's cookies and cupcakes.

 Even the horses seemed cold.

Geoff and I out for Valentine's Day dinner.
Movie night with friends.
Eri and Geoff on the slopes! They went skiing once a week for 12 weeks straight!
